Top Ten Books or Series to Read

  1. Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn -- The Twilight Saga (of course!)-- If you don't know what this is, you may need some serious help.
  2. Vampire Academy Books -- The ultimate vampire books: not too scary, not to creepy, but just enough suspense!
  3. Maximum Ride Books: Books about 1/2 mutant kids, cool right, who doesn't want wings? Why don't you read it to find out?
  4. Uglies Series-- Why be normal if you could be extraordinarily pretty as soon as you turn 16? Tally sure wants that, but her new friend just might change her mind...
  5. Percy Jackson and the Olympians: All of these have you sitting on the edge of your chair, holding your breath... until Mrs. O'Leary (the hell hound, who thinks she's a dog) comes out and slobbers all over you... then you'll burst out laughing!
  6. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants: Four girls, four dreams, four lives, one friendship, one Pants. Teenage girls that rock your world.
  7. Harry Potter: Who doesn't know who this is, seriously, who?
  8. Little House on the Prairie: A classic.
  9. Viola in Reel Life: A heartwarming story that describes a 14-year-old's first time away from home when she goes to boarding school. She learns the ups and downs of being on your own.
  10. Emily Windsnap: Mom's a human, Dad's a merman. Could her life get any weirder? Unfortunately, it can.

Amelia Earhart Quotes

~"The most effective way to do it, is to do it."
~"Never interrupt someone doing something you said couldn't be done."
~"No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves."
~"Never do things others can do and will do, if there are things others cannot do or will not do."
~"Anticipation, I suppose, sometimes exceeds realization."
~"Flying may not be all plain sailing, but the fun of it is worth the price."

~"...decide...whether or not the goal is worth the risks involved. If it is, stop worrying..."
